When I registered for the AVON 39, I knew I was taking on a serious and but very important challenge. I’m feeling strong today. I’m on my mission to jumpstart my training and fundraising for my AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer.
I’ve been training to walk the entire 39.2 miles! So, each week I have decided to write about my training here and link back to my personal fundraising page. Training for 39 miles is no easy task but neither is having to undergo chemo treatments.
But, you can help me out too! I have set a new goal for myself to fundraise $540 in the next FOUR weeks! To help me reach this goal, please continue reading about my training here and supporting me through financial contributions.
Your contribution to my AVON 39 will support medical research into the possible causes of and cure for breast cancer, early detection programs, and clinical care and support services for women with breast cancer in communities across the country. Much of the money granted by the Avon Foundation for Women goes back to the communities where it was raised.
Please consider making a donation, big or small, or share this page with people who you think might want to donate.
I’m going to need everyone’s help on this one! Thank you so much!
