Before having children, I use to have time to work and make large dinners. They were not spectacular, elaborate, or planned meals but, they kept the family fed nonetheless. Now that I am staying home with my little one, and doing the “domesticated mama” gig, I just cannot find a single second to make a meal.
Recently, I started experimenting with my crockpot. This little slow simmers and tenderizes tough cuts of beef, turkey, pork, and chicken, and creates a flavorful richness to homemade soups and stews.
